About Me
Hey! My name is Cristina Espinosa and I am a cinematographer located in Los Angeles, California. Here is the behind the scenes of me working as a camera operator and camera assistant for independent DP's and student sets with the American Film Institute and University of Southern California.
On set, I value clear communication, collaboration, and storytelling. I believe the best images come from trust — with the director, with the actors, and with the crew around me. I’m comfortable thinking creatively within limitations, and staying focused on what matters most: the emotional truth of the scene.
I’m currently seeking opportunities in drama-focused shorts, features, and student or indie productions, and I’m always open to connecting with filmmakers who value grounded, character-driven storytelling.
